Where's Nessie?

After the Highlands we made our way to find Nessie in Loch Ness. Loch means lake. All lakes are called Lochs except one and that is Lake Matiff. Mr. Matiff is the one that betrayed William Wallace to the English so as an insult they named a lake after him, but made sure to say it the way the English do since he sided with them. I really enjoyed the stories our guide told us and answered all his trivia questions throughout the day. I also sat directly behind him and got to talk to him quite a bit. He was really cool and we had fun picking on each other.

Being serenaded by the famous Scottish Bagpipes before our boat ride on Loch Ness.

It was a little cold on top of the boat but we toughed it out and kept our eyes open!
The legend says Nessie tried to crawl out of the lake, but the hill was too steep and she slid back in never to try again.

My friend Alexis. She always takes pictures of everyone so I thought I'd snap one of her.

So beautiful and the weather was great!
