Over the weekend my best friend, Amy, got married! The study centre in London gave me a 2 extra weeks in the States so that I would be able to attend. I was so grateful for the chance to stay and attend the wedding. It was three days of celebration and so much fun! We got our toes done and had the bachelorette party, a bridal luncheon and rehearsal dinner, and the wedding of course! I even got to pet a real live penguin at the rehearsal dinner at the Ft. Worth Zoo! It was pretty awesome. Here are some pictures of my weekend with Amy and her wedding :)

Let's Backtrack a Little....
A week before I left the States I went to Tyler to visit my sister and her family. I had a lot of fun playing with the boys and seeing my sister and Wade for a couple of days. Sterling and I even got to play some baseball! Overall it was a great trip, below are some pictures of the boys that I took.

Zero
Don't worry I was immediately able to find a dr. Pepper upon my arrival in London. I found it at the train station and in fact it's a dr. Pepper zero, which I have never seen in the states before. Score 1 for England!

Dr. Pepper please!
All morning before my flight to Atlanta and then eventually to London I had been talking about getting a dr. pepper at the airport as they are scarce in London. I was so excited and had a plan set in place after I made it through security. I found my gate and then made my way to the closest store to pick up my cool, crisp dr. Pepper bottle. Except, unbeknownst to me, DFW International Airport only sells Pepsi products. This would normally be good enough if I wasn't about to be deprived for the next 6 months. So after walking into a couple of different stores (I was hoping there would be a dr. Pepper just magically floating around- I was wrong) I asked a very nice worker where I may find this very rare and special drink. She informed me that burger king at gate 6 was my only option. So I walked from gate 15 all the way to gate 6, found the burger king (see picture), and obtained a medium sized dr. Pepper!!! Whew!! That was close. I imagined Atlanta MIGHT have my drink of choice except coca cola is based out of there so doubtful. So thank you to burger king!! The next time we meet will probably be my next flight out of terminal E at DFW airport :)

Climbing!!
I was recently able to find some free time to hit up a climbing gym in Arlington. I haven't climbed since November so I was itching to get on some routes before I left. I had a great time and met some other really cool climbers :). For those of you that have never seen me in action here's a little treat!

1 week
This time next week I'll be looking at this beautiful skyline in person!
This was a wall decoration I had above my couch all year. It's the London skyline and it reminded me of my previous time there and the ambition to return. It gave me motivation to work hard for this internship position. I realize that I should have studied the buildings a little more as I can only name 3, but that's what I have 6 months to learn right?

Music Capital of the World
My last weekend in Austin was spent surrounded my music.. Imagine that! Thursday was a concert with the Matchmaker Band (see post below), Friday was a concert at the Ghost Room, Saturday I did some good 'ole Karaoke, and Sunday was a concert with the beautiful and talented Erin Ivey!
Capital T knows how to have fun!
Thanks for all who came out to see Spirits to Enforce!

Speakeasy
My first reality to leaving was my going-away party at Speakeasy. With what little time I had I decided to celebrate with the Matchmaker Band! I didn't get a very good picture of the band (thanks to the UT Law event that was also happening that night) but they still provided some awesome Motown music for the night!
